Ozarks Church of Nature: Sovereign Liability Waiver & Release
Please read this document carefully before entering the premises. By crossing our property lines, booking an overnight stay, or digitally signing this form, you explicitly agree to assume all physical and spiritual risks associated with a raw, off-grid nature sanctuary for yourself, your dependent minors, and any companion animals.
1. Acknowledgment of Natural & Wilderness Risks
The Ozarks Church of Nature and Magical Food Forest is a wild, unpaved agricultural ecosystem. By entering, you acknowledge that the terrain features natural hazards, including but not limited to:
- Rugged Terrain: Steep slopes, rocky trails, loose gravel, exposed roots, and sudden drops that require continuous personal awareness to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
- Wild & Venomous Wildlife: Active native wildlife, including venomous snakes (copperheads, rattlesnakes), stinging insects, ticks, and brown recluse or black widow spiders.
- Weather Extremes: Intense flash heatwaves, high humidity indices, sudden storms, and high-altitude mountain wind shifts.
2. Interaction with Large Livestock & Infrastructure
Guests understand that we are an active farm and ecological rescue space. You explicitly assume all risks regarding:
- Large Livestock: Interacting with, being near, or handling goats, livestock guardian dogs, farm cats, and poultry. Animals can move unpredictably, bite, step on feet, or push guests over.
- Off-Grid Systems: Being in proximity to functioning farm tools, solar machinery, deep wells, moving tractors, and eco-septic systems.
3. Explicit Protection for Minors & Companion Animals
- Dependent Minors: If you are bringing children or minors onto this private property, you affirm that you are their legal parent or guardian. You explicitly assume all natural and livestock risks on their behalf. You agree that this full release of liability applies completely to any mishaps, injuries, or accidents involving those minors.
- Companion Animals: If you bring an approved pet or animal onto this land, you assume 100% financial and physical liability for its safety and behavior. You agree to hold the sanctuary completely harmless if your animal interacts negatively with our working livestock guardian dogs, local wildlife, rough terrain, or native venomous insects/reptiles.
⚖️4. Absolute Release of Liability & Hold Harmless Agreement
By entering this private property, you, your heirs, and your estate explicitly agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Shamanka Christie Aphrodite, the Ozarks Church of Nature, and all land co-stewards from any and all legal claims, demands, lawsuits, or financial liabilities for personal injury, property damage, illness, or accidental death incurred on these premises, whether caused by natural occurrences or perceived operational negligence.
